With the Cancer Research UK’s “SunSmart” campaign now building more awareness of the potential danger of school age children being overexposed to the damaging effects of the sun and the consequences later in life that can bring.
Broadview have launched our campaign to schools and colleges regarding what can be done to address these issues.
Recently at Northwood Primary School in Essex electric B28 awnings were installed in the courtyard area to protect the children outside and to reduce glare and heat build up in side the class rooms. The awning side by side offer a large covered area where children can play safe outside and be sheltered in inclement weather conditions if necessary.
Also recently at Dulwich College we have installed retractable “Sun-Rain” Terrace Frame Awnings which cover over 90 square metres. The awning offers students a large dry area along one side of the building and protects them from all weather conditions. The hardware was powder coated to match the RAL colour reference of the building.
Our client received a complete service from Broadview in under 6 weeks from original survey to installation.
