Broadview heads in to the third generation of the Pratt family
Dorset-based Broadview, a leading UK manufacturer and supplier of awnings, parasols, café barriers and print and sign solutions, has entered in to the third generation of the Pratt family with the appointment of Josh Pratt. Josh has been appointed as print and signage assistant within Broadview’s signs, print and graphics division.
Josh, 18, is set to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, David, who established Broadview in 1969, and his father and uncle, Mark and Ian, who joined the company in 1986 and 1988 respectively. Broadview’s innovative sign and graphic solution service launched in 2010 to complement the firm’s long-standing business of manufacturing awnings, parasols, canopies and blinds and Josh will work with this team.

Dorset-based Broadview, a leading manufacturer and supplier of blinds and awnings, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Mike Lingham as specialist blinds consultant.
Joining from Poundbury Blinds in Poundbury, Dorchester, Mike has extensive experience within the blinds business having worked in the industry for more than 10 years. During his career, Mike has gained valuable experience in all aspects of the industry including consultation, surveying, installation and retail sales and his appointment reinforces Broadview’s commitment to delivering the highest levels of service to the residential market.
Based at the firm’s head office in Poole, Mike will specialise in residential sales within the conservatory blinds and plantation shutters division and will report directly to Ian Pratt, managing director at Broadview.
